Cloud was impressed. There really were monsters here capable of rivaling the pure power and destructive capabilities of the WEAPONs in his home world. He'd followed the sounds of the beasts rampaging about, careful to keep an eye out for any stray crabs that might be running around. If only they knew a little bit more... The failed attempt to kill the monsters was more than enough to lower his confidence in getting out of Manhattan. Now that there was two...the dream seemed a little less likely. Well whatever, right? He had Zack here. And Aeris. And Yuffie. And Tifa! Vincent was here too.
"And so is Sephiroth...."
Well that wasn't too bad. He could take Sephiroth if it meant that Aeris and Zack were alive again. But...Cid wasn't here. And neither was Barret. Now that he'd had time to miss the guy he almost felt bad for telling him he looked like a bear in a marshmallow that one time. ...Almost. There weren't any chocobos here either. Which was really weird. Cars were nice and everything but he felt bad for all the people who'd never experienced the convenience of crossing terrain on a chocobo.
Hell. Despite monsters and the lack of chocobos, if Barret, Cid, and a couple of other people showed up, Cloud wouldn't even mind living here for the rest of his life. There were monsters in Midgar too. There were a lot of really talented people here. It was like having one huge party! They had to figure out a way to get rid of that "Clover" thing eventually with all the nerds walking around here.
Cloud looked up after what felt like a long time. He stood in front of a large clearing that led towards another large building. The place looked like it might have been pretty once. Not like they could have any nice things in Manhattan anymore with two towering beasts running around playing tag in the streets.....
