Characters: Fawful, anyone else
Content: Fawful is testing out a new scouting device. Who shall he see, and who shall see him?
Location: Pretty much anywhere
Time: He's keeping this up all day.
Warnings: None, though you never know how these things might go.

On the second floor of the Bryant Park Hotel, a window opened. There was a pause, before a small metal device suddenly tumbled over the windowsill, falling a good ten feet before suddenly slowing to a comfortable bob above the street. A glass lens flickered and adjusted, taking in the light, and the tiny machine began bobbing in different directions; to the left, right, forward, back, higher from the ground, closer to it.

Back within the room, Fawful watched the screen carefully, observing all that the camera took in. It was functioning, so far. It was not the best of his inventions, no, but good in these conditions; a weapon would have been nice, but too much weight would make the hover capability impossible. The crabmonsters were unlikely to try and eat it, anyway.

The scouter's lens found the right focus, and Fawful pressed the joystick forward. His machine whirred forward, over the currently empty streets. The more data he could obtain, the better.
