Let's try this again )
Thomas looked over his shoulder at the...kid. Well, he had worked with the short blind kid and after seeing her abilities he knew he REALLY shouldn't be judging people on appearances. "It's called sarcasm, I know very well whoever is out there is probably watching us," he glanced skywards as though suddenly it would be revealed that they were really on some set like in that movie with Jim Carey. Thomas wondered if he should start checking his apartment for cameras...then again Tinkerbell was small enough she might have noticed something like that.
"Got it," Thomas replied to Harry's instructions, putting a hand to the guns he had brought with him as well as the short dagger. You never knew when you would run out of ammo or your gun would jam (especially around a wizard) so Thomas was always prepared with some form of blade.
Thomas turned his own attention to the subway entrance, he hoped this went a lot better than the last couple of times he'd gone down there. "You know, I'm glad that whenever we get back to Chicago I will never have to enter a subway again," Thomas remarked as he headed for the stairs and started to descend into the darkness.

He nodded to Harry, "Understood."
As the other two started to descend, he hovered at the stairs. Coming to his decision, he suddenly spoke up. "One moment." Reaching into his pocket he withdrew the soul candy, "Don't be alarmed. I will be behind you, even if you can't see me."
It was a vague explanation, but he really didn't want to try to stand there and explain. It was easier to just do this. Who knows, maybe one of them could be spiritually aware.
Popping the green orb into his mouth, the result was practically instant. The boy's body sank to the ground at the top of the stairs, limp, an empty expression left on it's face as the soul within burst from the false body. He lightly landed several steps down, white haori settling around him. Adjusting Hyourinmaru's strap for a moment, if just to confirm his zanpaktou was indeed, still there, he was now ready to go down.

His eyes widened when Hitsugaya slumped over, and he moved to check on the boy when he thought about what he had said. Pausing for a moment he closed his eyes and focused at a point just above the space between his eyes, opening his Sight. If Histugaya was doing anything supernatural, Harry's Sight would likely reveal it.
With the Sight, Harry saw a second Hitsugaya standing above the first. This one was wearing odd robes that resembled the ones Renji had worn when Harry had used his Sight on him, though in this case there was the addition of a white coat over the outfit. What really drew Harry's attention, however, was the fact that there was a massive dragon that appeared to be carved from a block of ice hovering over the boy.
Harry's eyes widened in shock, before he closed them and forced his Sight to close. Opening his eyes again, he saw that just like with Renji the second Hitsugaya was still there, but that the dragon had been replaced with a sword strapped across his back. Shaking his head Harry asked, "I don't suppose you know a guy named Renji, do you?"
Turning he led the way down the stairs, arriving at the turnstyle. The whole station was eerily silent, their footsteps echoing through the darkness. The only light at that point was what trickled down the stairs, so Harry focused a bit of will into his stone pendant, casting a greenish light through the station. Looking over he said, "Okay, we should split up, but don't go too far from the light. If you find anything or run into crabs, head for the stairs as fast as you can."

When his brother started talking to someone he turned and...saw nothing. "Uhm...Harry...who are you talking to," Thomas asked, trying to follow where Harry was looking and seeing nothing.
He tentatively followed Harry down the stairs after his order, still really not understanding what the heck was going on. Were they just leaving the body up there?

"Abarai? You could say I do," he replied, before following down the stairs into the station. His steps were almost silent, as his waraji made little sound on the cement.
Hitsugaya nodded to Harry's words, "Understood." Before breaking away to begin examining the area, particularly the ground.

Glancing around, Harry moved off to one side of the station, his magical light struggling to pierce the gloom. It seemed almost as if there was an unnatural stillness in the air, the only sound the thumps of his boots upon the cement floor.
Harry felt tense, remembering what happened the last time he'd been down one of these places. Sweat ran down the back of his neck as his ears searched for any sounds of scuttling, or perhaps the approach of their unseen enemy.
He heard a clatter behind him, and whipped around to press himself against the wall and peer into the darkness, tension growing. After a few moments of nothing, however, Harry sighed in relief and turned around. When he did, his light shined right on the face of a crab, only inches from his own. Harry fell back with a startled shout, landing on his backside with his staff pointed at the crab, ready to blast it before it pounced.
After a minute of the crab not moving, Harry slowly crawled to his feet, just staring on what appeared to be the severed head of a crab, that on closer inspection appeared impaled into the wall with a metal spike.
Harry wasn't sure where the hell it had come from, but it sent a shiver down his spine, and he suddenly felt very alone in the dark.

That said, when a noise came from behind them Thomas tensed and turned to point the gun at the crab face, hissing a curse word and shooting at it. Of course, then he realized it wasn't moving and was just a head on a spike...oh that was just great. He looked over at his brother, "Empty night don't DO that!"
