How many days had passed since Sara had first returned? Three? Four? He'd lost track. Not that it mattered.

Shifting one of the various bags slung against his arms and shoulders, the SOLDIER dragged himself along one of the various streets along the way to the hotel at a quickened pace, determined to get home and get back to helping the brunette. This... whole situation. It was like back home all over again.

He'd failed to save Cloud before. He wouldn't repeat himself this time. Sara needed him now, and helping her was the only thing running through his mind. No distractions, no goofing off. This was serious.

The dark-haired man slowed down a bit, blinking once, then twice. His vision seemed to be turning... white? He felt a little dizzy, too.

The SOLDIER shook his head and immediately regretted it. The street seemed to pitch to one side and the bags slipped and clattered out of his grasp. The urge to lie down was becoming more and more irresistable, though he struggled to stay upright.

"Whoa..." He mumbled vaguely. "Don't... really feel too... goo..."

The ground rushed up to meet him, though he never felt it connect.
