Evangeline shot up from the heat of the sun on her face, and the cold on her body. Snow... but it's summer... Her mind wandered through thoughts of maybe her resort was on the fritz. Or she absentmindedly hit the wrong portal, ending up in the blizzardly landscape of her snow training area. She glanced down at her cloak and the the revealing one piece she wore under it, her eyes wandering to the ground under her bare feet, to the tall buildings that surrounded her. Many were damaged by a great... something, either a small and powerful mage or a large and powerful dragon. Either event the city was not in the best shape. But that was not her main concern, and her concern for using the wrong portal was gone too.

This wasn't even Mahora! How could this be, she'll be dead any moment! Oh damn that Nagi and his idiotic curse! He said he'd of freed her by now, but that was a decade ago! Why the hell couldn't he of stopped in for 2 seconds and let her out! If she gets through this she will rip his heart out with her bare hands and feed it back to him. Yeah, yeah! That'll show him for leaving her trapped in a school and not even hugging her!

As her mind raced she slowly realized she wasn't dying. So either he had freed her and this was a side-effect, the old man was in stamping hell so she could do a job, or... well, there were possible reasons for her to be released, but none that came to mind. Mostly as she didn't care. "I-I'm free. Free from that stupid island and its stupid students, boring classes, and that child mage and his friends who think they can help me! Free!" It didn't take long for the sheer thrill to go from jubilation to just flat out maniacal laughter.

So there stood the Girl Queen of Darkness, laughing to the clouds about her new freedom. Just taking the moments to feel the thrill she has not had since before that damned Nagi crossed paths with her. A time which one might doubt she was alive for, given the look of this small girl.
