Time of day: Late morning
Warnings: None
Orlando didn't honestly expect anything to come of the fishing trip he'd agreed to, but it had been months since Orlando had clapped eyes on another cat, and, although he wasn't exactly pleased that a kitten so small was having to survive in Manhattan, he didn't think he could have turned down an opportunity to see her.
He'd picked Chii up from her caretakers at the hotel (admirable of them indeed to look after her, he thought) and ventured out with her into the snow. Although the snow wasn't very deep, it had him lifting his paws higher than he would have normally and he knew Chii's legs were much smaller than his own ... so he hesitated before he got too far and turned to look at the kitten.
"Would you like me to carry you?"
