What- Danny went and got himself pneumonia. Orihime and Sasuke have offered to help, and others may be drawn by the sound of his constant coughing.

Once he'd managed to find what looked to be the remnants of a pharmacy, Sasuke had realised that even the medicine from this world looked different from the ones at home. (For one, it was much more brightly coloured.) Still, he managed to find an intact bottle of what he was pretty sure was cough suppressant.

Antibiotics were another matter -- looked like they might have been something that weren't normally stocked. There was a clutter of things where Sasuke guessed a back room might have been, but he couldn't identify most of them. Hopefully that kid had someone else bringing him medicine as well.

The warehouse was the easiest thing to locate. Sasuke approached the open door with a frown; had someone else gotten here? Slipping noiselessly into the warehouse, Sasuke noted both the coughing sound and another figure. A really weirdly shaped figure, but he'd seen more than his share of really weird things since coming here. Someone else here to help? Hopefully -- Sasuke had no interest in fighting inside a place like this, and for someone he'd barely met.

(He wasn't here out of altruism. He was here because there was a point when even Sasuke had to admit that anyone with any information or ability could be useful in a situation like this.)

Tense and wary (just in case the other person wasn't friendly), Sasuke called out as he approached the source of the coughing, "Oi. You needed medicine?"

"Uh?" was all the response Sasuke got from Danny, he was kind of out of it at the moment.

... looked like the kid was indeed pretty bad off. Sasuke strode over to the bundle of blankets, taking care to avoid a few unfortunate-looking puddles (bloody, he noted, which probably wasn't a good sign) on the way.

Somewhere in the blankets he could locate a figure who obviously not too responsive.

"I have some medicine," Sasuke informed it anyway, just in case. "If you can't drink it yourself, I'm going to be forcing it down your throat, so be prepared."

"I got it..." Danny replied, shifting a bit so to look at Sasuke. "Thanks."

Huh, so the kid was conscious after all. Somewhat dubiously, Sasuke handed over the bottle of medicine. He hadn't been able to locate a bottle of water to wash the stuff down, but in times of need there was no way to be picky.

Danny luckily had his own water, and after a fit of coughing and hacking managed to swallow a few of the pills.

"Thanks." he said, voice hoarse.

Whatever the kid had, it looked bad and probably needed more advanced treatment than was available here. Sasuke frowned, a bit of irritation seeping into his tone: "How long have you been sick? And why haven't you asked for help before now?"

"I'll be fine." was the only response Sasuke was getting. Danny tried his best to look healthier, but failed miserably.

"Right," was Sasuke extremely dubious reply. Whether the kid was okay or not wasn't really his business, but staying alone here was akin to suicide. "This is where you live?"

"Yeah..." he replied, wearily. "Not much, though."

Not much was a hell of an understatement. This kid wasn't going to make it much longer on his own, judging by the look of him. "Do you have anyone who will take care of you?"

"Yeah, Orihime's coming..." he finally said. He didn't need everyone in Manhattan worrying about him, but it sure felt that way.

Sasuke wasn't sure who this Orihime person was, but she was doubtless better than no one. Certainly better than leaving the kid to waste away. "Are you going to need anything until she shows up?"

"No, I'll be fine, thanks." Danny replied, smiling as best he could.
