It appeared Medusa had arrived first.
A few random homeless laid on the floor and in chairs scattered across the desolate waiting room. The air conditioner seemed to be acting up, she thought to herself. Or maybe it was the walk that did it? Her physical fitness was the least of her strengths, something she'd need to work on in this new environment. In any case, she was sweating unusual amounts for this weather, and needed to take her coat off. Her snakes were keeping an eye out on events around the island, so she didn't need to hide them under her sleeves right now.
The place was a bit messier than she'd hoped. Dust had settled on the tables and countertops, torn magazines scattered across the floor. She hoped the facilities were neater, as she'd need a more permanent workspace at some point. She also wondered why there wasn't a larger medical presence at what seemed to have once been a prominent hospital.
She'd ponder such things later. Setting her spear against the front desk, she waited for her patient to arrive.
