Evey had posted in her journal in hopes of getting some sort of response on how to heal her problem, not expecting such a sudden response and answer to her call. Moving, slowly but surely, back over to the couch she had taken residence on, she lie down and fell asleep, trying to avoid another coughing fit.

She was awoken a few hours later when she heard the echo of a 'hello' coming from probably the entry way. She started to move, but began coughing, again, this time worse than anything before. Once she regained her breathing and voice, she called out.

"Up the stairs! I'm sorry, I can't move very well." She shouted, hoping the girl could hear her, and feeling awful that she couldn't go down and meet her.

Orihime had already taken off in the direction of the coughing when Evey answered her. It was worse than she'd thought, if something like a bite had her sick and coughing! The redhead really hoped she could heal the woman, with her powers weaker here than at home. She would have to train with the Shun Shun Rikka, and see if she could maybe gain a little more endurance. It was so hard to focus them here, and she got so tired. Maybe Sado-kun would train with her again sometime, even if Yoruichi wasn't here to help them.

Peering hesitantly around a doorway, she assured the woman, "Please, don't apologize! If you're hurt and not feeling well, then you shouldn't be getting up anyways!"

The girl entered the room briskly, kneeling down by the couch and inquiring anxiously, "Where are you hurt? Can you tell me or show me?"

((OOC: Sorry about the wait, it's been a crazy week!))

Evey smiled a bit after she finished coughing again. "I know, it's just rude for me not to." She said, sitting up on the couch. At the question about her injury, she nodded. Leaning down, she pulled on the bandage around her ankle, where she had originally thought she had just been scratched...but now it was a different story.

"Here." she said, wincing when she saw the wound. It had been a month, and it was still open and bleeding, and it looked horrible. "I'm not the best at taking care of injuries apparently..." She mumbled.

Orihime bit her lip upon seeing the bite revealed. It was that bad even after a month!? She returned her eyes to the woman's face, attempting to stifle the worried tone creeping into her voice as she told Evey, "Somebody told me the crabs were poisonous, so it's not your fault it's not any better!" Her powers were so much diminished here, what if she couldn't fix it? Or what if it seemed to heal, but the poison stayed in Evey's body? No. She couldn't think like that. She had to believe and not hesitate, or it really wouldn't work ( ... )

"That's what I was beginning to gather from my conversations on the network." Evey said. "A couple of people were telling me about what had happened to them with the crabs." The one woman had told her that it was probably a crab bite, and Dahlia had told her some things about the ailment too.

After listening to her explaination, Evey just nodded. It sounded intriguing to her, and normally she might not believe it...but this was new territory, nothing was the same anymore.
