It was odd, having some young girl over to make pancakes this late in the evening, but James had been settling into the idea of strange. Weird things went on all the time here, and he was more worried about the poor thing having a run-in with Walter, who, while he meant well, could be down right scary at times. In retrospect he probably should have gone out to meet up with her, god knows the crabs were out in force and what if she got bitten on his account?
James' foot tapped faster on the tile floor in the kitchen as he waited. Better to just stay put and not worry.
He'd been so excitable and edgy ever since Harry had left to go on that food run with the group from Madison Square Garden. He frowned faintly. Not that he was worried about him or anything. It was just-
