As far as Wolf was concerned, it had been far too long since he'd seen his most succulent true love. And now that Flute had taken care of the crab bite, he didn't have much fear of meeting her...and with the news that lots of new fresh food had been found, he could be on his best behavior, too. All in all, he was looking forward to finally leaving the smells of the shelter behind and settling in someplace new with Giselle...hopefully, for good.

He smelled her approaching from across the lawn, and then waved excitedly. "Oh oh oh oh, Giselle! Here, here!"

Giselle heard Wolf immediately and her face brightened even more, though many would ask how that was even possible for her to smile to GET any brighter. "Wolf!," she cheered, rushing over to him and immediately giving him a hug after she had dropped the bag. "Oh it's so wonderful to see you again! I've been so worried about you because I haven't seen you much," she said as she hugged him tighter, momentarily forgetting about the present she had for him in her bag.

Wolf's face lit up almost as much as Giselle's, if even that was possible. He returned the hug with just as much force, nearly lifting her off her feet. Her scent sent feelings of relief and happiness all the way down to his tail, and it was with a bit of reluctance that he pulled her away just so he could talk to her. "Ohhhh cripes, I was worried enough about you! Soooo glad to see you again! I..." Wolf hesitated, a little reluctant to mention that horrible nightmare with the crab parasites, having Flute heal him, and then nearly getting caught again just in the interests of getting food. He finally just managed a sheepish scratch at his ear. "...I've been all over this place since all that awful badness a few weeks ago!"

She let out a happy laugh as Wolf nearly picked her up off her feet. She stood back listening intently as Wolf assured her he was fine. Giselle was so glad to hear it and didn't seem to notice the sheepish scratch to his ear. She then recalled the bag at her feet and she smiled, "I have a surprise for you Wolf, would you like to guess what it is?"

Her laugh made Wolf feel both calm and excited all at the same time. If there was one thing he could count on, it was that Giselle never let anything bad really get to her. It made all these ordeals from the past week feel more than bearable.

"Oooh, ohh, surprise? Hahhr, let's see, ummm..." Wolf stared down at the bag and sniffed. Well, it wasn't food, as he'd definitely be able to smell that...mostly it was her scent, plus the muted smell of cloth. "Rrmmmmmmmmm...HAH, is it a stuffed cow?" She had given him all those other animals.

"No, it's not," she smiled, though that was a good idea...she hoped Wolf still had the animals even though the place he had been staying was destroyed. She knelt down to the bag and then rose, a bright red scarf in her hand...it was obviously soft and very warm. The most striking detail however were all the little sheep stitched onto it, dotting the red surface with their white fluffiness. "Here, I made this for you," she said with a grin, waiting for his reaction.

"Awwwr, never was good at guessing..." Wolf mused to himself. As far as he knew, the stuffed duck and rabbit were lost in the rubble of the Strand, and he wasn't going back there anytime soon. Maybe the others were still left at his very old apartment? He didn't know.

Wolf's face lit up completely as Giselle pulled out a red scarf embroidered over with little white sheep. After a moment of admiring it, he slipped it around his neck. The material was very soft, and smelled just like her. "Hoooohh, huff puff, it's perfect!" Wolf finally said, although his broad smile said it well enough. "Such a soft touch!"

Giselle felt her heart soar when Wolf's face lit up like the sun, he was a lot like Giselle in that aspect: he appreciated a gift to the fullest. She of course couldn't help but match his smile as he slipped the scarf on and showed just how great it looked on him. Giselle clasped her hands together, "Oh you look wonderful Wolf...I'm so glad you like it!"

Wolf had always been a little bit prideful, but hearing it from Giselle just made him feel full of warmth and fuzzy feelings. "Hurrr, of course I do..." It occurred to him suddenly that he really didn't have anything to give her in return, and it was likely she'd been working hard for awhile making these for everyone. His tone became slightly apologetic. "I'll find something rrrreally really for you, too!"

She giggled lightly at his confidence in his looks. Of course then Wolf suddenly became apologetic and she smiled sweetly, "Wolf, that's very kind of you but you don't have to." She knew things were hectic for everyone and she really didn't want Wolf to hurt himself in this time just to get her something nice.
