She also then realized that this must have been one of the people who had told her about her favorite colors. Giselle walked over to her, she didn't look like she was feeling very well (green skin aside) and it was also her goal on this quest to make everyone feel better, "Uhm, excuse me, but I don't believe we've met in person...I'm Giselle...you must be Elphaba, right?"
Giselle reached into her bag before Elphaba could respond and pulled out a multicolored scarf...the woman had been one of those who had listed quite a few colors and Giselle couldn't decide between any of them either. So, she had compromised and had ended up with a rather...interesting scarf...it was pretty to be sure and nicely made but at first glance the color choice seemed rather random...black yarn to a dark blue a purple and then a red that was precariously close to pink. She grinned as she held it out to Elphaba, "Surprise!"

About to answer, she cut herself off when Giselle pulled something from the bag she carried. Curious, Elphaba watched, and barely had time to identify the object as a scarf before the other woman was holding it out, offering it to her with a cheery smile.
The green-skinned woman's eyes narrowed slightly, not in distrust but in disbelief. This was only the second present she had been given in her life, and it caught her just as much off-guard this time as it had the first. "Thank you," she said, accepting it with a genuine smile that contradicted the suspicious nature she'd developed in light of recent events in Oz.
In her surprise, Elphaba's gaze was focused on the other woman; it took her a moment to remember to look more closely at the garment that had been placed into the hand not confined to a cast.

"I hope it's to your liking," Giselle went on to say, apparently misinterpreting the look Elphaba was giving it. "I don't usually use such dark colors but I have to admit they did work well together," Giselle said with a small smile.
