That was a great diversion he'd thought up. Luring Cloud away with the task of getting new clothes. He was just as gullible as ever.
As soon as the SOLDIER had been absolutely sure his friend had left, he hadn't wasted a second in opening the back window of the apartment and climbing out. A wide smirk was on his face as his feet landed upon concrete, though it melded into one of a pained look as his chest began acting up. But the pain had receded quickly, and the man was on his way once more, whistling a tune.
He'd be back before Cloud even knew he was gone.
The city wasn't so bad once he'd been there a day. In fact, upon gazing upon the massive skyscrapers, stores, and little hot dog stands, the SOLDIER was more than eager to take a look around at his new temporary home.
Well... hopefully temporary.
Or maybe not... since he was supposed to be dead and all...
Zack shook his head and the negative thoughts away. Don't let Sephiroth get his way. Just keep moving.
He'd only walked for about a half a mile before he'd felt the need for a rest. To his luck, that need came just outside of a pawn shop, which had been filled with all kinds of antique swords, guns, explosives and more. Zack's grin widened as he stepped inside.
This was gonna be fun.
