Why did he agree to this again? )
And so, around a corner it was. Little work for a fair result. Vyers was hidden, at least. He peeked around, hearing footsteps, before whipping into view. "Ah, so you have arrived!"

"Yeah, here I am," Laharl muttered in reply, folding his arms across his chest, glancing Mid-Boss over. There really wasn't anything much different about him since the last he'd seen him.
Had he even gained any more levels? Doubtful. Once a low-level demon, always a low-level demon.
"Let's just get this over with," Laharl said. He didn't want this to take any longer than necessary.

Vyers laughed loudly, his hand quickly swinging to gesture toward his rival. "Let us waste no more time! Come at me!"
((Sorry for short tag. >.O))

He rushed forward, clamping his hand into a fist and came low, then leapt up, fist driving for Mid-Boss's chin.

Had the boy really thought a simple trip would bring him down? Hmph! He would be sorely mistaken!

"You gotta do better than that, Mid-Boss," he heckled.

Vyers simply glared. "I simply had not recovered from that cheap trick," he responded in a huff before charging once again, this time opting for a flurry of blows in this attack.

He didn't want to waste too much energy on Vyers, but he built enough to give a good shot. Which he released, right towards Mid-Boss.

This time he dropped, swinging his leg around in an attempt to trip the boy up.

Vyers went low and Laharl simply leapt upwards and back, avoiding the swinging leg entirely. Meanwhile, he fished out his sword from his scarf. He had no intentions of fighting fair, obviously.
He then dashed suddenly forward, energy forming around the sword as he used one of the more simple sword moves, hoping to get a quick hit that might finish this.

Vyers hadn't expected Laharl to play fair. He was a demon after all. As soon as he saw the sword, he scrambled to his feet to dodge the strike. Luckily for him, he was able to, although in a far, far less graceful way than he would have liked.
Ugh... how humiliating. His gaze flickered toward a nearby alley and immediately he began debating the merits of a tactical retreat.
