Doubtless that others had been through here before Miss Beastie and her children decided to roll over it or whatever monstrous crabs do to relieve stress.

He stared at the case for a few more moments before thrusting one purple fist through the cracked glass.

The shop was still of use, but who was he to keep a district attorney waiting? The Joker grabbed two clips off a splintered, half-destroyed wooden shelf and loaded one into the USP. The other went into his suit's pocket as he strode out of the store, the beginning of a tune already playing on his pursed lips.
Yes, it would be very impolite to leave such a respected man waiting.
