UNDERGROUND: DAY TWO

This plot effects this week's missing characters as well as any other characters that wish to be involved. We suggest that all players read this post.
Underground, Day Two: The cavern shakes alarmingly with the passing of one of the monsters. Part of the wall collapses, revealing a monster-made tunnel beyond. Characters can explore it, moving toward the south. The effects of the bite seem to be coming on extremely fast; all characters feel weak, fatigued and feverish, and their bites are very painful. They cannot move very quickly.
Surface, Day Two: Characters will feel a small rumbling (big enough to be clearly felt but not big enough to cause any damage to streets or buildings) beginning in the middle of the day around Times Square. It will seem to move diagonally south over a period of an hour to an old, familiar area-Greenwich and East Villages, ending around Union Square, where one of the monsters will be seen emerging from underground and heading west to the river. No injuries.
