i've seen a lot of disturbing (and awesome) movies. Irreversible, Love Liza, and Happiness come to mind as the most recent few. but i must say, the movie i watched earlier tonight was definitely more disturbing, horrific, creepy and weird than all of those combined. ever seen Suicide Club? (the bloody Japanese one, that is.....apparently there are a couple movies with that title). i still feel slightly sick to my stomache from watching it....more tripped out and confusing than i was expecting, to say the least. some of the scenes were terribly hard to watch. i don't want to say much more except, go rent it!
a lovely contrast with last night's movie, Lost in Translation. was somewhat disapointed with the unrealisticness of it all. funny how over-the-top unrealistic movies, though, are often better.
did i forget to mention that yesterday was our 1 year anniversary? (dan and i, that is). crazily how these months have flown by. we had an awesome dinner at osaka. yay for quality sushi!
