Holidays
Christmas has been a pleasant season this year.Stayed at home consuming vast qauntities of turkey,chocolate and champagne.Absolutely delicious.Everyone enjoyed receiving their gifts...I received gorgeous summer dress,silken dressing gown,jewellry,perfume,chocolates,body lotions...many presents from my students too which was nice.Also this year I have received cards from far and wide.Its been really good to hear from people overseas...
New Year was spent by the sea.
Poor Grandad has been indisposed ( father ,actually) Glad you are a bit better..thinking of youxx
Father in hospital but .(.haha! I remember a primary school competition where Scottish towns were to be named with cryptic clues like this....which as it happens is sort of true just now..)

A mere 40 years ago.
Long memory..speaking of long memories we went to the zoo yesterday and spent awhile with the elephants.
the tigers were in good spirits,posing and purring behind the thick glass barrier.
Back teaching today and received a belated Christmas prezzie...more chocolate! YES!!
