OMGOMGOMG!!
I got a job at South New Brighton School!!! I am so, so excited. The interview was over 2 weeks ago, then the principal called me Friday a week and a bit ago, and asked me if I would be interested in the job ("WOULD I?!")and I received my contract a week later, which was Friday! Initially, I was told it would be with New Entrants, but the contract says "...in the Year 0-8 area of the school, in the middle school". Whatever, I had well and truly given up hope of getting a job in a primary school (a full-time one)and almost 2 years after finishing college, I am absolutely over the moon! The job is a maternity leave position, and the person can have their job back with one months notice...does anyone know how long such positions typically last for?? Foot in the door anyways! Yay!
