I keep adding completely inappropriate real person ships to my list, in this case Shaun Micallef/Charlie Pickering. It is appalling. For the record, I'm not a tinhat. I don't actually think any of my RPS ships are really couples any more than I think Merlin and Arthur are going to make out in the next season or Jack and the Doctor are going to elope. I just think the personas they adopt in front of a camera are adorable and flirty because it is funny and it sells, and probably also because they are friends and friends do that sometimes.

I was never an RPF fan until QI came along with all its flirting. Or maybe it was The Daily Show with all its flirting.
