Reason
Humans are supposed to be rational beings. They are supposed to think logically about things. Reason is what sets us apart from the other living creatures of the world; it is why we are humans and they are animals.
Some of us are more animalisic than others--more instinctive, more intuitive.
People get bored. Boredom leads to irrationality and the creation of words that don't exist (or the shortening of words, which is pretty much the same thing).
I get bored. I post in a journal I told myself I wouldn't post in anymore.
