Tonight, lying on the sofa, watching the curtains billow out from the window and feeling the first breeze of the day I realised, all over again, how good my life is. Good as in full of possibility and opportunity. Good as in full of wonderful people and more love than I've ever known. Good as in... abundant (help me, I'm starting to sound like Oprah!). Good, fortunate, blessed. Funny how these moments follow on from the lowest of times. The pendulum swinging, swinging until it comes to rest. At rest until it's let go again.
You know how you can take two steps backwards and then suddenly make a big jump forwards? When you stop looking, that's the time to be bold. But you have to first go looking to be able to stop. You stop looking and then suddenly the answer is there - and it doesn't exist, doesn't need to, because the question has gone.
