(no subject)
So I guess my mom is pissed at me for setting stuff up at her house for Rachael's party. She says it's other stuff going on, and I believe that. But she was bothered by me taking country decor off her sideboard and putting up decorations for the party. She said she didn't realize I'd be decorating inside. (Because calling to say that I need to come decorate inside doesn't mean decorating inside, I guess.)
When I was finished, I left. She was out front when I was leaving. She called me about 20 minutes later to ask where I had gone, and to fuss at me over tables. She didn't want to go and clean up a bunch of tables for the party and then I not want to use them. (Which was never communicated to me while I was there.) So now I'm going back over this afternoon to help deal with that. I have stress without dealing with her, "I have decided to do all this extra work to make things perfect so no one will judge me," neuroses.
