-ff.net won't let me correct my email address as it says someone else is registered with it (why yes, that would be me!)
-I can't reply directly from my email to posts and comments on my live journal, even though a box with a hole in it appears for me to type into
-I can not check the appearance of my lj *before* I commit to using that style/colour/margin etc
-Gimp won't work on my machine
-I upgraded to a new version of the OS a few years ago, and in doing so lost the passwords for several apps, and can't upgrade them till I have the passwords, and can't get new passwords until I send them my registration numbers by email, and cannot find the registration numbers anymore, and at any rate they would send them out to my email address that is registered with them, and I have changed email addresses and can't get them to change my email address until I send them my registration number...
-Entourage has decided that I want *all* the mail that is sorted into my inbox, coloured purple so that I will notice it
-It has also taken to randomly filing things. I gave it a rule that said it should sort email notifications from lj into the lj box. Now anything that has the letters l and j ends up there.
-I cannot make a proper lj list and a I can't find the faq for it
Many of these problems have a 'hole in my bucket, dear Liza' problem. I can't fix one thing till I've fixed something else, and it goes round in a giant circle back to the original problem.
Paper and pen, people. I swear I am going to go back to paper and pen. I shall need all your postal addresses. It will be much slower for you to receive my witty insights, but it will be less fraught.
