Lots of crying and frustration in the last minutes leading up to the deadline for submissions to the
mini-opera scriptwriting competition run by the English National Opera.
Not, I hasten to add, because of the script itself or the competition, but because things went kablooey, as they oft do with me, with the posting of the script to the land of blogs. All that carefully structured formatting was equally carefully stripped out during posting - with 25 minutes to go before closing time.
Luckily K could help, but the more observant among you may have noticed the absence of the usual sticky post on this journal (at Dreamwidth). It's still there, for those on the reading list, but as the last minute attempt to set up a Tumblr account and separate out the 'other' writing from 'this' writing failed miserably, it seemed a prudent move.
Also. I now have a Tumblr account I have no particular current use for.
Urban Fantasist have posted 'Deserted', which was my entry for the 24 hour
Sci-Fi London Challenge!
It's now officially listed as being the 'runner-up'. Not bad given that position didn't originally exist :-D
And even as I type last-minute preparations are being excitedly last-minutely prepped for the
Writercon UK Event 2012!
Really, really looking forward to seeing everyone there. If you're going and have forgotten to send in your
Quiz question and answers, now would be a good time! (Respond to the post behind that link, not to me please)
