Baking: Remains Of The Day
We had friends over tonight. There was discussion and laughter and exchanging of hostages borrowed items and lots and lots of food.
Some of the food looked like this:
That's a chocolate lavender cupcake with a raspberry perched on top of it.
Originally it was sitting on a cake stand along with the other cakes, like so:
As you can see, most of the cupcakes and banana cake had gone by this stage. I didn't think to ask anyone to take a photo till a lot of the desserts had gone. But that's okay. I think you get the general idea. Also, I've just realised I'm in the background, eyeing the remaining cakes :-D
