The weather outside is frightful.
But I've been in enough housefires by now to know that fires are not always that delightful.
I do have places to go, but the weather's decided to let it snow, let it snow, let if snow.
And with all this snow and treacherous ice* what's my biggest concern? Is it heating? Lighting? Cooking?
Is it the fact that for a number of reasons I couldn't get my Christmas shopping finished and my backup plan of heading to the mall tomorrow now looks as if it's been iced over? Is it that there's now a slight possibility we won't be able to make it to The Relative's to spend Christmas day there and she'll have to spend it alone at her place in the middle of nowhere?

My biggest fear is that the internets will go down and I will be left without access to the web or email.

I think my priorities may be slightly askew.
*How can ice be treacherous? I've heard this description several times now. Does it wake up in the morning and decide it's going to commit treason?
