We've had a few weeks, probably closer to a month of bumpy roads. It's not something either of us wants, but we are working through it and I really think that it will make us stronger in the end.
Last night we went to see Seether and 3 Doors Down. It was Kyle's birthday present from me. Aiden came along, and it was his first concert. We all had such an amazing time! We were in the pit for Seether, Aiden was old enough and big enough to hold his own. For 3 Doors Down we stepped out of the heat and the sweaty bodies and hung out further away from the stage, but actually had a better view. Aiden, in true Aiden style, danced his ass off. Kyle's sister lives here in town and she and Aiden danced around like crazy fools. I love watching him have so much fun.
I am so thankful to have been able to have such a wonderful and positive experience with the two men I love more than anything. Here's to the road less traveled. Enjoying a relationship and a man's company after the "new" has worn off, and trusting that he means it when he says he loves me.
Six and a half months in, this is all new territory for me.
