Kaden does this thing where he asks questions that have no good answers. Like this morning, he said, "What if there was a time that said 8:85?" Um...well...that would be different than how we have it now I guess. And you have to really dig around to figure out what he's talking about (which in this case was that the clock would have 100 hours and therefore there would be waaaay more time in every day to do everything he wants to do, so I explained that time is a fundamental quality that can't be altered just by making a longer clock.)

Anyhoo, so just now he came to me and said, "Mommy, how long does it take a plane to fly from Metropolis to Gotham City?" I was like, ugh...I bet there are people out there who know the relative distances between these completely fictitious places in different comicverses, but I am not such a one.

So I just said, "I don't know Doob. I don't know how far apart they are."

Doob: Well, Metropolis is on the dining room table and Gotham city is all the way over on the piano!!

Awwww. That's cute! I still don't have an answer but it's very, very cute.
