Fr. Joe won a Golden Apple!
This is our family friend who concelebrated my wedding and who baptized Geneva. He's really wonderful -- one of those priests who you can just feel the love of God radiating out to everyone he meets. He's a very passionate and animated person, so much fun to be around. You can see he jumped for joy when he heard he won! I'm sure he also started singing and clapping his hands. He's such an incredible, genuine, inspiring person.
Oh, I'm so happy for him! I'm so glad he won this award. The best teachers are those who are passionate about the subject and engaging to listen to, and that's exactly him!
