OK - I usually need maybe 6 hours sleep. The last month of so, I seem to need 11, it's bizzare!
I gave up caffeine, stepped back on all anti-inflammatories and upped my training after.
So freaking tired today only did maybe an hour, with 3-4 minutes of jogging in the middle. I don't want to lose what I have, but wanted to give the swollen joints a rest.
And they ARE swollen. Ice is my new friend (trying to keep those anti-inflammatories down).
I'm also really watching my eating. I'm doing well on calcium and protein and even upped my carbs a little. I'm using a tool online to make sure I don't undereat or overeat and that I'm getting my daily intake of the important things. I'm drinking water.
What the f. Seriously! I have to have missed something. This is too much sleep and I'm quite swollen, for several days in a row now.
Maybe this is normal. I'm going on that for now and not forsaking the training schedule I found/modified. It's for someone from couch to marathon so I figure good start right?
I walk 5k most days, a few times a week a lot more, and try to have at least one and where we're only out for 20 minuts or so fairly easy walking (as close to a break as I can take).
Any suggestions? Tips? They'd be really appreciated!!!
