Hello flist
I know, I've not posted in ages. This is partly due to my not having large amounts of energy come the end of the day, and mostly due to most of the interesting and froth-worthy (both good and bad) bits of the day being somewhat confidential. For those who don't know I work as a TA supporting kids with various problems in a local-ish school. It's great fun, overall, but obviously I'm not allowed to talk about details.
Went on a Dartmoor Club walk with the school a couple of weeks back. My hiking boots still smell of bog.
Ran a Pargon game last night, which seemed to go pretty well. I think it helped that we had a large monster crew with three refs and several experienced monsters so I was able to pass on the brief and let them get on while I reffed an encounter and stuff. Now I just want to know what happened on the game I ran, what with Kerrigan becoming a temporarily unstoppable sorcerer of doom, Moss becoming an undead, and general wtf-ery like that. But yes, the monster crew were brilliant, and conveyed the fuck'ed up-ness of the place rather well. There's another game on today, but I won't be attending as I woke up this morning feeling really ill. I'm just hoping that with a day's rest, I might recover enough to travel to Staffordshire tomorrow.
EDIT: And we have no milk, so I don't get breakfast. Lovely.
