It seems I've found a new friend. I've seen her around my complex for a couple of weeks and I finally said hi to her a few days ago. She was quite friendly so I invited her in and fed her. Yep, I'm feeding a stray and she's been spending more and more time in my apartment. Soon I shall invest in a litter box and scratching post once my aid ( Read more... )

Yay for kitty's! I've been feeding another kitty too, but he's not allowed to come inside, which saddens me deepply.

Aye! I'm still a bit uncertain about letting her in (1. Not allowed but no on site manager and 2. She hangs out with a colony of cats when she's outside). She doesn't look like she has any diseases though and I haven't seen any fleas so I don't know. But I still would rather have her come inside than try to make it through the coming winter. If she were to fully become "my cat" though it would be after she has a check-up (make sure she's spayed, has her vaccinations, etc.)

Yeah, good plan. I'm taking Smoky Joe to the vet soon. A hefty toll to pay - $137 just to be checked up and vaccinated! But if he needs to be neutered I'm going to take him to some free neutering clinic so at least there's some sort of break.

I sometimes feed stray gargoyles when the come to the door, which strangly is very often. More often than other people, but maybe it's just me........
