all jobs are boring no matter what
those are the words of nick's mum from an e-mail, and boy are they ringing true today. maybe its because i'm tired from all the travel or maybe because its been so long that i forget what i was doing before i left.
its probably a combination of the two.
anyway, my trip was a success; i got an articling job in london, ontario. i'm pretty excited about it, even though it's less brag-worthy than working at the biggest firm in western canada. not to mention any names. i think the people there really liked me and that felt good to hear. the lawyer who called to offer me the job told me i was at the top of their list, which was also nice.
blah blah blah...it was quite an adventure that i'm kindof sick of talking about. but i just needed another way to procrastinate. i'm at work, stealing time again, but i'm also making time...i plan to bank my hours in hopes of being able to take another week off later on in the summer. look out london - the sk will probably be back in august.
in other news, in honour of it being 6/6/6, i'm seeing "the omen" tonight. wicked.
