But if you intend to lose weight, you still need to have a balanced diet. Lean meat's important as a source of protein - otherwise your body won't be as efficient at burning calories. You'll need carbs, too, for pretty much the same reason.
Do you go walking much?

Yes, I do plentiful walking! I walk through People Park everyday to get to work and back home. Other than that I don't exercise on a daily basis though...
