Picspam of Death

Sep 12, 2010 00:32

I decided to put together a WLiiA? Cast Picspam ‘cos a) I was bored and b) I haven’t been showing Whose Line as much love as it deserves. Unfortunately, apparently when I saved most of these I was too young and naïve to know how to save them properly. So they is tiny! D: Apologies.

So without further ado, I give you, Whose Line is it Anyway?...

Rehearsing for “Drew Live” I believe…

I love how close the cast seems.

Is that Kathy Greenwood? I’m saying nothing if it is -_-

I don’t really have enough words to express how much I love this picture. It radiates with the love that the cast and crew had with each other. I love the rare appearance of Dan Patterson, and the even more rare appearance of Mark Leveson. Plus, it’s proof of how cold the set was :P

Oh the 90s/early 00s. Sorry about the bad quality of this one. I seem to remember reading that the girl on Brad’s left actually fainted when she met the guys. But my memory isn’t that great.

It’s one of my biggest regrets that I haven’t ever seen the Comedy Store Players live. I mean, just look at them. They are the epitome of cool.

I’m guessing this was taken early to mid 00s. I wish Steve Steen and Jim Sweeney had been in the show more, they are absolutely wonderful. It’s truly heartbreaking what Jim is going through now. I always thought that Niall Ashdown was totally underrated; he could have been a brilliant recurring cast member. Lee Simpson never returned, but he gave it a jolly good try. And, well, there are no words really for my beloved Tony <3

If I knew what this was about, I’d tell you.

Chip is just an absolute doll.

*snort*

I don’t really know why. This just makes me laugh perpetually.

What I’d give to make this readable D:

Drew and his Stepson.

One of the reasons I’m so happy I found Whose Line was that I found Craig Ferguson as well. He’s not well known at all where I am but all I can say is thank God for Youtube.

Speaking of Mr. Proops…

If Greg hadn’t always been a nerd I think I would have been disappointed.

I don’t know what’s more funny: the paparazzi taking photos of him doing something
so mundane, or Greg’s reaction to it.

I remember this was my desktop background for a while XD

Jeff should have been in every episode. There, I said it.

Jeff and Chip asleep. I officially feel like a stalker.

Props to Steve Frost. I don’t have many pictures but he was great. I would’ve been crap at hoedowns too, and his eyebrows were awesome.

Oh, Clive.

Oh, Clive. Oh, Clive.

I always preferred Clive to Drew. Not that I don’t like Drew, there was just something rather magical about Mr. Anderson. He had more of a defined role than Drew, and sort of gave the show more of a point. He could be just as quick witted as the contestants, and he nervousness on the first show still makes me smile. The jokes about his having no neck or eyes still crack me up, and I loved to hear that he joined the cast for a drink after work.

Which brings me to my next topic…

I have so much admiration for Josie Lawrence. Let’s face it; she was the only girl that could ever really hack it. (Although an honourable mention should go to Sandi Toksvig) She had the best job in the world working alongside those boys. It was a shame that they never really gave her a chance in the US version. As she proved in one recording, she would have brought a lot of spice to it.

Why, hello there, Mr. Stiles.

How you doin’?

Tiny >.<

I couldn’t do this without mentioning Richard a bit. I do feel for him being stuck behind the piano for all those years, and I think he should’ve been made much more of a big deal of on the show rather than just “the pianist”. But he was great at it. And for that, I solute you, Vranchey.

Why can’t I find one of him in the bikini? D< Meh, maybe that’s a good thing.

Mmmmm.

I mean, STOP THAT AT ONCE, BOYS!

Basically I adore everyone that’s in this picture.

Certainly by the end of WLiiA? UK, Tony was a character that you either loved or hated. To this day he’s still one of my favourite performers, and it rips out my heart when I think about all the things he’s been through. Although Paul and Josie were also major contributors, I firmly believe that Whose Line wouldn’t have made a second series if it weren’t for Tony. Imagine.

And so ends the Picspam. This by no means includes all of my favourite cast members, but I’ve tried to put in as much as I can.

Paul wants to know why he was barely included in my Picspam. The answer?

He was just too cool.
