A Sad Fact of Life
This post is about a friends cut.
Let me explain to you what has happened before anyone gets all offended, yeah?
In the last few days, I've added close to fifty friends - people who friended me, and I friended them back. These are primarily folks who wanted to read my stories (all of which are public anyway). I didn't even talk to most of you first, and that was irresponsible of me.
Also, in the last few months, there have been several (okay, MORE than several) older friends with whom I just haven't connected much.
In the meantime, I've missed posts - important posts - from people I actually know in real life, which makes me feel both sad and guilty.
As a result, I have gone through my friends list. Many people were removed. This is NOT because I don't want to be friends. I look forward to many more lively discussions with each of you on the various communities where we already interact. In time, those discussions might just cause me to friend you - several of my newer friends have remained on my list because of exactly that type of interaction.
Some journals were removed because I know that the owners have two - I tried to keep the one that is the most active. Some because they've been completely inactive all year.
And some, unavoidably, have been removed by mistake. If you are one of these, and you know we've been in communication and I just ditched you by accident, please comment here so I can correct the mistake. Comments are screened.
