So let us discuss the lost and lonely souls around us. Again, if anyone reading this is upset by the subject matter… Then quickly look away… There is nothing here for you anyway…
I had a discussion the other day about the possibilities of another depression and weather or not the people would rise up. For the most part when I talk to someone about this, they say generally the social make up of our communities are too complacent. Is it that the “Haves” cannot even fathom the loss of stuff? Are they so intertwined and consumed by the false worship of belongings? If you forget your phone at home will you drop everything to go save it? If your DVD player goes on the fritz, do your friends and neighbors know of your wrath? And as for the “Have Nots” are they too caught up chasing the spirit of belongings? Has some horrible material spell swept over the land? If words are the spark of magical creation and for that matter magical destruction, then are we in essences being attacked by materialism everyday? “I got my mind on my money and my money on my mind.” You too can own this for only $99.95 a month. If you don’t take advantage of this wonderful offer then you’ll be a loser. Is money the root of all evil? Is money a spirit that can be controlled? Is money a blessing or a curse that one can bestow upon another? If “I AM” then can I control money anyway I see fit? As animals we humans require only food, water, and air, basically. As spiritual beings we have something in us that strives for more, weather it be “good or bad” or “balanced and imbalanced.” Is your drive for the material pulling you off balance? Are the dues you’re paying in life for the greater good in you? Are you so addicted to the substance of matter that your Will is blinded by the glittering of golden trinkets? Are we fools to think that only when the coffers are full can we take the time to seek out and show others wisdom? Drink of my well, it is delicious isn’t it?... That’ll be $19.95… Thank you, come again! Why is it that when one looks at histories spiritual icons, they all cast down the shackles of the material world and yet gained so much more? Is there some strange love affair between the quintessence of the material and the divine in us? Similar to the cat and mouse banter when people are falling for one another. That relationship between two people where you say I want you, but I want you to chase me. And I’ll chase you until I have you, but then you must chase me. Did the wisest ones before us realize that the chase never ends and they choose to be pursued as apposed to being the pursuer? Can the fundamental nature of the material be captured and made to be my servant? Has this foul beast infected everything to the point that most of the souls around you are lost? And who among us would give up that which is most precious when faced with the loss of there electronic icons? Would you have the Will to survive?
