How to summarize last evening...
I'll just write what I Txted my buddy -
"You missed boobs and sweet cherry pie and good beer and music"
"You've not lived til you've seen a chick on crutches dance all sexy-like to Prodigy's "Smack My Bitch Up". And I saw a Unicorn!"
So I went to a Burlesque show at the Palace of Wonders on H Street NE last night. I LOVED it! I got to take the glove off one of the performers during her act and she gave me some cherry pie. Cool cool. I also got to try Magic Hat #9 beer. Tasty.
After the show, I went upstairs to see the Museum of Oddities. I saw a Merman.
After THAT, we went to the Rock and Roll Hotel and listened to some really good Brit-pop/eclectica/techno/electronica while we lounged on couches sipping porters. Good times.
I enjoyed hanging out with Kawan, Fatima, C. J., Seanboe, Zeeshan (sp?), Juli, Erin, and others!
