so Summer is upon us and we are suffering from transition-itis. To much togetherness, some aimlessness and some desperate attempts to hold onto any type of schedule. I have quit going to the official Weight Watchers meetings. Whatever plateau I'm on isn't giving up easily and the pumping out of money for it was plainly stressing me out. So, I am sort of doing it alone. I don't track enough but I am way more active and less stressed about it. More like healthy living than anything else right now. The garden is starting to produce lettuce so salads are back on the table. Once you've gone fresh it's hard to eat store bought.
Getting to the gym is interesting because I have to square the kids away. That usually involved them plugged into something electronic while I'm away and I'm not super happy about that. Sometimes I get them to ride their bikes with me while Cody and I walk the lake. They do like riding bikes to the library. Maybe we need to have them ride to the library while I work out next door. However, to be honest, there is no way I can ride that hill home after Body Pump. I can barely make it to the car. I suppose I can do the squats and lunges with no weight knowing the ride up the hill will work my legs just fine.
Today we have a cloudy, cool and moist day after a rainy night. Love it! I'm not a 90 degree + kind of person. This will also give my lettuce and spinach some more happy place. The maters however want the heat.
Today is cleaning in preparation for Karen Baldwin and Don coming over for dinner. I am buying her parent's kindles from her at a discount. They wanted the 3G type not the wi-fi type. This should help Dylan with the reading and not hauling huge-mongous books all around. The library will have Kindle loaning up soon and that will be Wonderful! with a capital W.
Knitting - not much at all.
Sewing - nothing and I need to make more sandwich wraps for the camper.
Camping - all mess up thanks to Mother Nature's rage at the system this year. I'm guessing she has a point to prove and is stepping up her game trying to get some people's attention.
Now it's back to cleaning and throwing up all the windows to get this cool fresh air in. The rain cleaned the smoke from Arizona out so it's nice.
