Proud to be an American.
Many people have bene speculating lately whether or not Barack will bring the American dream back alive?
To me, this is a ridiculous question. In my own mind he has already brought it back alive.... When our fore fathers came to this country they were all looking for a place that can be different. Where everyone has an opporunity to become what they want and are not held back by class. Although things have been lost along the way this is our time to prove that America is different and it is the place it was always meant to be. Barack has given so many people in this nation hope through this depressing time. He is the American Dream. If he can do it, so can you. That's what he instills in me. Don't give up, keep going , the only thing someone can never take from you is you mind. It's amazing.
Another thing,
I was listening to talk radio and they asked the question: Are you sick of hearing about Obama?
They stated that people are being shoved to much information about what he is doing and we are all going to get sick of it. That America loves to build people up, break them down and then have a great come back story. Just sick. I couldn't disagree more. I love the fact we get to know the things he is doing in office; they first time in a long time that more than just the experts are paying attention to our government and caring about what's going on. I say, keep it up! Become involved and knowledgeble about things that are happening around us, not just in our country but everywhere. Don't stay in your town bubble! Think of what they are doing on Capitol Hill because like it or not it will affect you in one way or another.
