It spoke so much of longing. The longing they wrote into Helen at first and then abandoned like many good story arcs.

There were so many good stories started that I can't help but still wish it had been The Five show or The Helen/John show. Ahh!

Why kill off Watson?
Why get caught in so many senseless story arcs that left the viewer with nothing?

We had many strong characters with pasts never touched.

Sadly that was the shows downfall.

Oh god, Watson! I loved him so much, and they did nothing with him! How? I don't understand how a show gives up on an opportunity like that. Were there really other, more interesting stories to tell? I don't think so. At least, not for me.

I agree. Many character's pasts were never touched. The only one I can think they really touched on was Will, and sadly I was never quite a fan of his character after the first couple of episodes. He just grated on my nerves.

His Mum was murdered, they never touched it.

Henry's past = never touched
Kate's past = never touched
Biggies past = never touched

Writing fails all over.

You know what, I have a thing for his beard as Watson. Idk why but that thing was so unfff to me.
