Just as an FYI, the Beckinsale/Wonder Woman thing was an April Fool joke that JoBlo ran, and then IMDB picked it up and ran with it, without realizing. Thank God!!

I can't imagine anyone more perfecet for the part than Gina Torres, but it will never fly in today's Hollywood. It's nice to dream though.

There really is no other actress I can think of who has the presence that says "Rar! Warrior!" than Gina. But they'll probably cast some lightweight pretty girl (one who even I could take in a fight) and stick her in a black wig. Bah.
