Golden Globespam:
E!'s wrap-up of the Globes. I was more in the mood for a straightforward recap, and all I got was bad jokes, so be warned.
The Golden Globes at Go Fug Yourself. Pics from the Golden Globes afterparty. Isaac Mizrahi is out of control (screenshots of him molesting Scarlett Johansson).
Meanwhile, I desperately want Scarlett's makeup. Reese got scammed by Chanel! "There will be red faces all round at Chanel this morning after it transpired they tricked Golden Globe winner Reese Witherspoon into wearing a dress that had been worn at a previous Globes party by Kirsten Dunst - and she discovered the hoax. Reese had reportedly been told her gorgeous silver and white dress was vintage, but it now transpires the gown was actually only a few seasons old - with Kirsten Dunst choosing it for an after-party at the 2003 Golden Globes. Now Reese's publicist is threatening to stop any of her high-profile actresses, including J-Lo and Renée Zellweger, wearing anything from Chanel again. 'Reese was told the dress was vintage. It was not,' Nancy Ryder, Reese's publicist confirmed. 'I'm not angry - just a little disappointed, but the big deal is Reese won the Golden Globe.'" To clarify, the story as I understood it was that she knew that Kirsten had worn it, and that was possibly where she had originally seen it, but she didn't care because it was supposedly this ubervintage superdress. Me, I thought it was pretty ugly, which may be why they're so pissed that it turned out to be a newish dress--she ended up choosing it for vintage qualities rather than, you know, aesthetically pleasing ones.

Piper Perabo joins "The Prestige." You know, the Christopher Nolan movie with Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale. Whee!
"Firefly" fans raise money to pay for 24 more episodes: "When I returned to the site this morning to see how much money has been raised so far, there was a message up saying that the donation drive has been suspended due to 'insurmountable odds and legal issues.' They don't really explain what that means exactly, though. All the money raised, however, is being returned to the donors. "
Russell Crowe's Concert Rage: "Russell Crowe became enraged when a concert he was playing with band An Ordinary Fear Of God was interrupted by pop music. Poor soundproofing at the hotel he was performing at meant his singing was drowned out by a nightclub next door. He said: 'My story-telling is being compromised by shitful music.' He then demanded that the crowd complain to management after the concert. An onlooker said: 'Russell really had the hump, big style. He started the show in a great mood but it went downhill pretty quickly. Many of his songs are emotional - one is about a family member's suicide - so to have pop music spoiling his mood really tested his patience.'" Shitful is possibly the most awesome word I have seen all week.
