What about the Dementors? I've been truly anticipating their impact... I mean, they scared me in the book, so I find it scary to think about what they;ll be like cinematically. Oldman is a crazy god, so I have never been in doubt that he's perfect for Sirius Black.

Oh! I forgot to mention those! They're frickin' scary, man. And they did a good job differentiating them from ringwraiths, no matter what "Harry Potter in Fifteen Minutes" says when I put it up later. :)

To me, those Dementors and the way they did it reminds me of the underwater scene with the pirates in Pirates of the Caribbean, and they're in the moonlight - there's that same floaty, ragged, CGI-type effect going on, the slow bouncing, the slow movement of it. It's really quite awesome, but I kept thinking about pirates. *amused*

I have to add (it's late and silly, but oh well) that Sirius reminded me of Jack Sparrow. I was just waiting for him to go to Harry, "How about you come live with me, savy?"

actually, you're not far off at all. The Dementors were filmed underwater to create that effect.

I agree that they're about as different from Ringwraiths as you can get considering that they're essentially the same thing (scary things in cloaks and hoods :D)
