Eureka - Maneater (2007) Deputy Lupo: First off, I was totally insane before. For the record, I do not now, nor have I ever wanted to jump you. You believe me, right?
Sheriff Carter: Well, I don't know. I mean, maybe you just got tired of staring at Lake Carter, and you had to take a dip.
Deputy Lupo: Okay, you're making me nauseous.
Director: Michael Robison

Carter becomes the object of affection of all the women in Eureka. Callie feels a little bit left out, as he searches for an answer as to why all women suddenly love him. Carter soon learns, thanks to Henry, that the cause is a bacterium that has been sealed away for thousands of years has leaked into the air. When the town's air conditioning system is working again, the bacterium begins being pumped into the atmosphere, which could cause all men to become irresistible...
Sheriff Carter: Well, I'm just saying, if you want to get comfortable, you could... take something off.
Deputy Lupo: It's fine.
Sheriff Carter: We're alone. All... alone.
*Lupo breaks into giggles*
Sheriff Carter: Come on, Jo!
Deputy Lupo: I'm sorry. "All alone."
Sheriff Carter: No, forget it. Forget it. This is ridiculous.
*"Sheriff's Starion" fades out, revealing it to be a holographic backdrop in GD*
Dr. Young: Sexual harassment is anything but ridiculous, Sheriff.
(...)
Dr. Blake Thank you, Dr. Young, for a very informative presentation.
Dr. Young: Well, if I can spare at least one person the humiliation of sexual harassment, then I've done my job.
Dr. Stark: I think I'm with Sheriff Grabass. Seems to be a ridiculous waste of time.
Dr. Stark: So ladies, how are we feeling?
Dr. Young: Humiliated!
Dr. Blake: My head is much clearer now. When he was in here, I couldn't think; I just wanted him.
Dr. Young: It was horrible!
Dr. Stark: I can only imagine.
Sheriff Carter: Are you done yet?
This episode... well, to be completely honest, it just very silly. But it deserves points, because although the episode uses the mandatory-for-a-scifi-series 'everybody wants (characters) because of x), the writers used it well. Maneater has all the character interaction Eureka is loved for and the cheesiness is just extra. I could make a long list of all the awesome quotes from the episode, but that would be really long, so I'll hold off for now and maybe do so in a later post.
