A Few Of My Favourite Outfits From This Year So Far

Hello DL! It has been such a long time since my last post here! (I can't even remember what outfit I was wearing in my last post...). I wanted to share some of my recent outfits with you all today. I have worn a fair few outfits so far this year, so I decided to just pick my favourites.

First up is the outfit I wore for my local community's anniversary meet. Midsummer is my absolute dream dress and these Syrup tights I got at Revelry last year seemed the perfect match for the dress. I definitely need to get the Haruhi Clover hat in more colours as I am really in to hats at the moment. Apologies for the hall way picture- this was the best shot I got of my outfit that day!

Next up is a casual sweet outfit I wore for a catch-up with my closest lolita friends. I didn't have any matching apple themed jewellery so I made a felt brooch, which I attached to my cutsew. My outfit doesn't have a great deal of pink, mainly because it is the most awkward shade of pink ever!

I thought I would include a shot of the back of this outfit with my bolero on. I quite liked how the sailor collar on the cutsew looked teamed with the bolero!

And... another indoors photo! I met up for a casual meet and because it was raining, I decided to go for darker colours. I was worried I didn't have enough red accents in this outfit but I don't think it looks too bad? I think this Bodyline skirt is quite underrated.

Next up is my June ILD meet outfit! (Please ignore the fallen dress strap in the pic!) I had recently obtained the last of my dream dresses- Sweetie Violet. I was really worried the shape of the JSK wouldn't suit me! The weather was gorgeous that day and it seemed a good time to break out the bright, sugary pastels.

I met up with a few lolitas a couple of days before my birthday. We had afternoon tea on a floating barge and it was a lot of fun, even if we did end up climbing over a load of road barriers in full lolita and almost got attacked by a protective mother goose (don't ask!). I love Rose Toilette. In fact, I love a lot of AP releases that were released around that time. The dress has a slight peachy tone to it, so I decided to make that my main focus when coordinating, but at the same time adding some pink too.

For this outfit I wasn't going out anywhere- I just really felt like dressing up! When I finally got a suitable petticoat for this longer length Krad Lanrete dress, I knew it was finally time to get it out of my wardrobe and actually wear it for once. The tiara is from Juese bridal on Taobao. I don't have the matching hair accessory for this series and it took me a while to locate a hair accessory which I felt went with the dress.

And finally, here is my most recent outfit, which I wore for a picnic meet last Saturday. Can I just say, I SWEAR I do have loads more blouses but for some reason I picked a lot of the outfits which I wore this Baby blouse in! It is my favourite blouse though. Although it isn't that obvious in the photo, the ankle socks are in fact the same shade of lavender as the dress. Can you tell pink and lavender is one of my favourite colour combos?

So I hope you enjoyed my outfits and if you want to know where any items are from, let me know. It was great fun to make a post for DL again. I miss the old days where the community was very LJ based. If you are curious to see more of my outfits I am always posting on my blog here http://luna-rain.blogspot.co.uk/ and also my Tumblr- http://luna-rain.tumblr.com/

Thanks for looking!
