Hey everyone! It's been a few months! This is my fourth time posting on Daily Lolita and I'm so happy to put together another post. I've had so many opportunities to dress in lolita in the past several months so I have a lot of outfits to share with everyone here. I hope that you all enjoy!
☆ Outfit one ☆
JSK: Angelic Pretty's Sweet Cream House jsk in mint
Blouse: Taobao (Magic Tea Party)
Bag: Baby The Stars Shine Bright
Socks: Angelic Pretty
Shoes: Bodyline
Accessories: A mix of offbrand, and Angelic Pretty
This outfit was from the first day of a mini vacation that I took with some friends before Christmas. We all decided to visit Houston together and we had so much fun! I wanted to wear something easy and basic that night since I had to make the 5 hour drive that day. Sweet Cream House is really comfortable! Unfortunately I popped the button on one of my waist-ties that day because I tied it before I put it on but forgot to unbutton it.
whoops. T-T
Luckily, it is an easy fix.
☆ Outfit two ☆
JSK: Angelic Pretty's Melty Cream Donuts jsk in mint
Blouse: Off-brand
Bolero: Innocent World
Bag: Baby The Stars Shine Bright
Socks: Angelic Pretty
Shoes: Bodyline
Accessories: A mix of offbrand, Angelic Pretty, and Taobao
The main reason my friends and I visited Houston was to take part in Anime Matsuri's LUV volunteer day. They showed us around the convention center which was super informative and awesome. Knowing where everything would be before-hand made it really easy for me to navigate the convention. I was really happy to see all of our Houston friends as well! Melty Cream Donuts jsk is so light and airy. It has an organza built in petti which is super soft too. I really love this dress!
☆ Outfit three ☆
JSK: Angelic Pretty's Chocolate Rosette jsk in brown
Blouse: Innocent World
Bag: Swimmer
Socks: Angelic Pretty
Shoes: Bodyline
Accessories: A mix of offbrand, Angelic Pretty, and San-X
I think I was feeling really photogenic this day, even though it was terribly rainy and cold! Chocolate Rosette was the perfect dress to keep me warm during our Christmas mini-meet in Baton Rouge. We had a lot of fun shopping for Christmas gifts, decorating sugar cookies, and watching Disney movies!
☆ Outfit four ☆
JSK: Angelic Pretty's Musee du Chocolat switching jsk in mint
Blouse: Taobao (Magic Tea Party)
Bag: Offbrand
Socks: Angelic Pretty
Shoes: Bodyline
Accessories: A mix of offbrand, Angelic Pretty, and hand-made
I put off wearing Musee du Chocolat for months just to wear it to the NOLA Lolita's annual big Christmas meet. It wasn't cold when my husband took this picture in the early evening but it got much chillier later.
☆ Outfit five ☆
JSK: Angelic Pretty's Musee du Chocolat switching jsk in mint
Blouse: Taobao (Magic Tea Party)
Bolero: Innocent World
Bag: Offbrand
Socks: Angelic Pretty
Shoes: Bodyline
Accessories: A mix of offbrand, and Angelic Pretty
This is technically the same outfit as above, but I took separate pictures later so I decided to share them. I'm cheating. Sorry! Does anything in these pictures look off? That night while my husband and I were driving home I started feeling very sick. The next day I had a high fever! It turns out I had the flu and was bed-ridden for almost two weeks after. Looking back on these pictures, I look really sickly! haha~
☆ Outfit six ☆
JSK: Innocent World's Chocolate Teddy Bear in green
Blouse: Offbrand
Bag: Baby the Stars Shine Bright
Socks: Chantilly
Shoes: Bodyline
Accessories: A mix of Reve Lullaby, offbrand, hand-made, and San-X
This outfit was from the first day at New Orleans Comic Con. My friend and I decided to split an artist's table very last minute so I was able to attend for the first time. It was a very fun convention! My hubby and I had tickets to go and see Beauty and the Beast at the Saenger Theatre that night, so I wanted to wear something cute, yet elegant. The Saenger is amazing! I really wish that I could've gotten pictures there but we unfortunately forgot our nice camera and we were running late as usual.
☆ Outfit seven ☆
JSK: Metamorphose/Crown Label's Teddy Chocolatier collar pinafore jsk in mint
Blouse: Offbrand
Bag: Baby the Stars Shine Bright
Socks: Angelic Pretty
Shoes: Offbrand
Accessories: A mix of Angelic Pretty, Minty Mix, San-X, and Sanrio
This is from day two of New Orleans Comic Con! These were taken in the beautiful hotel that we stayed in the night before. Not much to say here, I suppose. This isn't the first time that I've worn my Minty Mix Soft Bear headpiece with this dress. I wish that I would've switched shoes, but my feet were hurting so bad from walking around New Orleans in those Bodyline heels the day before. I had to wear my shabby boots. Oh well.
☆ Outfit eight ☆
JSK: Bodyline's Antique Clocks jsk/op in mint
Blouse: Offbrand
Bag: Baby the Stars Shine Bright
Socks: Baby the Stars Shine Bright
Shoes: Offbrand
Accessories: A mix of Minty Mix, San-X, and offbrand
This is from the last day of New Orleans Comic Con. I was so exhausted and it really shows! This outfit is so thrown together. I forgot my beret and lashes at home in Baton Rouge so I am looking like a hobo-lita. haha~ I really love the close-up picture so I still wanted to share this! I split my table with Kammie from Minty Mix and she made these cute little Gizmo faces to sell that weekend! I love them! She is so creative!
☆ Outfit nine ☆
Skirt: Angelic Pretty's Chess Chocolate skirt in mint
Cutsew: Innocent World
Cardigan: Angelic Pretty
Bag: Angelic Pretty
Tights: Angelic Pretty
Shoes: AnTaiNa
Accessories: A mix of Angelic Pretty, Taobao, Disney, and off-brand
Day Zero of Anime Matsuri! I rode into Houston early with a few of my friends because a couple of them had fashion show rehearsal and I wanted to explore a little. I was so happy to finally get the opportunity to wear this skirt with the chocolate bar cardigan! ahhh~ I really love this outfit!~ It's a bit more otome-esque, I think. Unfortunately I only had my cellphone camera to take pictures that day so they look a little poor. I apologize.
☆ Outfit ten ☆
JSK: Angelic Pretty's Musee du Chocolat switching jsk in mint
Blouse: Taobao
Bag: Baby the Stars Shine Bright
Tights: Angelic Pretty
Shoes: Bodyline
Accessories: A mix of Angelic Pretty, Betsy Johnson, handmade, and offbrand
I was so excited to wear this outfit on the first day of Anime Matsuri. All of the stuff on my head was somewhat heavy, though! I made the little sash myself but it still needs a lot of work. I am really in love with AP's tights. They are amazing!
☆ Outfit eleven ☆
JSK: Baby the Stars Shine Bright's Welcome to the Sweet Hexenhaus ribbon jsk in mint
Blouse: Taobao (Elpress)
Bag: Baby the Stars Shine Bright
Socks: Alice and the Pirates
Shoes: AnTaiNa
Accessories: A mix of Minty Mix, Sanrio, and handmade
This was my big, over-the-top outfit that I planned for several months so I was super pumped to finally put it all on together and wear it for the BtSSB/AatP tea party at AM! Since Sweet Hexenhaus is Hansel and Gretel themed, I thought that it would be the perfect opportunity to make a sweet witch coord! I was able to make the large witch hat with the help of a couple of my best friends. I made the tiered chiffon butt-cape and hand painted the candy-cane myself. I also got about a million of Minty Mix's signature waffle brooches and stuck them all over my hat and dress. There is a lot of detail that I was unable to capture unfortunately. I am hoping to actually do a photo-shoot in this outfit at some point this summer in order to better showcase it. Akira told me I had a beautiful face at the tea party that day and I melted like chocolate in the sun. She is too sweet!
☆ Outfit twelve ☆
JSK: Angelic Pretty's Wonder Party halter jsk in brown
Blouse: Offbrand
Bag: Swimmer
Socks: Angelic Pretty
Shoes: AnTaiNa
Accessories: A mix of Putumayo, Reve Lullaby, Betsy Johnson, and offbrand
Putumayo's tea party was on Sunday, the last day of AM. Since Putumayo seems to enjoy Alice themes I wanted to try to put together a March Hare-themed coord. Now that I go back and look at all of my pictures from AM, this might be my favorite coord! I love pairing minty things with this dress, and the bunny ears just make it extra cute. The wristcuffs that I am wearing are from the Putumayo booth which Hasegawa was really proud to show to me when I told him I was looking for something brown. He's really kind! I'm really starting to like Putumayo's edgy, yet casual style.
I had a lot of fun at Anime Matsuri and I am really looking forward to next year!
☆ Outfit thirteen ☆
JSK: Angelic Pretty's Melty Cream Donuts jsk in mint
Blouse: Offbrand
Bag: Swimmer
Tights: Angelic Pretty
Shoes: Bodyline
Accessories: A mix of Angelic Pretty, and offbrand
It's very convenient and even a little suspicious that this is outfit number thirteen because I wore this when a met a few friends at the Myrtles. The Myrtles is one of America's most haunted houses. We took a tour and walked around for awhile. It is a beautiful house and was the perfect place to wear lolita. I tried to make my make-up look a little spooky, but I probably should not have worn that shade of lipstick because it makes my face look funny. oh well! xD
☆ Outfit fourteen ☆
JSK: Angelic Pretty's Promenade de Paris halter jsk in mint
Blouse: Offbrand
Bag: Angelic Pretty
Socks: Metamorphose/Crown Label
Shoes: Offbrand
Accessories: A mix of Angelic Pretty, Minty Mix, and offbrand
While looking at these pictures, I am cursing the fact that I forgot to bring my dark brown shoes. My friends decided last minute to wear lolita for our little outing that day, so I threw this outfit together in minutes. After we went to lunch, we found this awesome old building near where our car was parked with these gnarly, twisted vines. It was the perfect spot for a mini-photoshoot!
For those that are interested in where the wigs, contacts, lashes, and off-brand accessories came from:
The caramel colored wig from outfits 1 and 9 is from
Minty Mix. The caramel and brownie long wavy split wig from outfits 2, 7, and 12 is also from
Minty Mix. The caramel and blondie split wig from outfits three and thirteen is also from
Minty Mix. The wavy deep reddish-purple wig from outfits four, five, and six is from ebay; you can message me for the exact seller if you are interested. The rhapsody wavy brown wig from outfit eight is from
Lemail/wig-supplier. The dark brown hime-style wig from outfit nine is from ebay; you can message me for the exact seller if you are interested. The wavy dark brown wig from outfit eleven is was borrowed from a friend. The dark brown short wavy wig from outfit fourteen is from
Lemail/wig-supplier.
All lashes are from Diamond lash with the exception of outfit fourteen, which are from Fit (Daiso). The brown lenses in outfit three are Geo's Starmish. The green lenses from outfit nine are Neo's New Adult green. The brown lenses in outfit ten are Geo's Twin series, which I'm honestly not a huge fan of. The Starmish brown lenses are much prettier.
Most of my offbrand accessories are from Forever 21. All of my offbrand blouses are from Forever 21 as well. The little mint bow bangle from outfit one and the mint bow ring that matches it are from a local shop in New Orleans called
KawaiiNOLA.
Reve Lullaby is where I got the ribbon comb in outfit twelve. The gorgeous bonnet from outfit six is one of her creations as well.
