Talk Like a Pirate Day 2011.
We have a tradition in the Gothenburg lolita community to arrange pirate meets around TLAPD every year! This year I wanted to try something different. I wanted to mix prints, and I wanted to try a fake deathhawk (fake because I don't have shaved sides).
I spent aaaaaall morning doing the hair, it took several hours. I realised it's hard to do a deathhawk when you have as long hair as I have, it goes to my waist kinda. It's easier if you just have around 30 cm hair, to get it all to stand up! Of course you can make 50 cm hair to stand up too, but then you'll need a friend and a hairdrier!

And still, I didn't get any real good picture of my hair from the side! I'm still kicking myself for that. So here are a couple of pictures where you kinda see the hair.

And full body pictures. I made my eye patch by taping black paper on one of the glass of my glasses, lol. Some people have told me they think this outfit is more punk than pirate, I don't really know. Pirate was what I aimed for, but maybe they are right. Therefore I will tag it as both.

I wore this outfit for going to the Galago/ETC (two publisher) party at the Gothenburg book fair! And earlier in the evening I had some crayfishes at a ”crayfish party”. I Sweden you always eat cooked crayfishes in August/September. It's delicious!
