Flash Your Stash 2010

Jun 28, 2010 20:28

Normally this day is reserved for April 1, but I always manage to forget. That, and I feel like now's a good time to display what stash I own. In other words, here's my 2010 Flash Your Stash photos.

First up, the dishcloth cotton stash which consists of four skeins. All to be made into *gasp!* dishcloths.

Next, the baby yarn. One skein of Bernat Softee Baby in lemon, for which I haven't fully decided what to make. My thinking right now is some charity knits. On the left is my current WIP, a pinwheel blanket to be given to Afghans for Angels.

To be honest, I've completely forgotten what this yarn is called. I signed up to get one free skein of it in the mail, a promotional offer from the company, and somehow ended up with two. I know one will be made into a pair of Fetchings, while the other will be made into the scarf whose pattern is seen here; I just don't know which will be made into what.

The leftover; various pile. There's a little bit of everything here; some Wool Ease, some Bernat Chunky, some dk weight yarn and some fingering. There's enough of the cream Wool Ease to make into a hat or something, yet I haven't decided on a pattern. As of now, I'm actually rather excited at the idea of figuring out what the rest will become.

The leftovers, cotton edition. All this will eventually be made into preemie hats. As you can see, one is currently a UFO.

Unavalable for photos is two skeins of lovely sock yarn given to me for my birthday by my equally-lovely friend Mama Maurine. Thank you so much. :) I'm hoping to find a pattern for them this week. Actually, that's my plan for all of this yarn. I'll be without wireless internet begining next week through the later part of August, so won't be able to post updates here. Plans are under way, so be looking for those at week's end.
